For this exhibit, I have the privilege of being in conversation with Ms. Prema Thakur. She was born just a year after the Partition, and grew up in its shadow, with her father, an Army officer, a first-hand witness to the Partition’s horrors. She went on to study Political Science, followed by a long and distinguished career as an academic and administrator, giving her a scholarly perspective on the Partition to complement her deep personal connection to it.
