For this exhibit, I have the privilege of being in conversation with Mr. Azfar ul Islam. He grew up in Karachi, Pakistan, and in the course of his long and distinguished corporate career, has lived in Dubai for several years. Mr. Islam has a unique perspective, given his personal experiences of how the Partition impacted his family, and the fact that he spent a lot of his career in Dubai, where Indians and Pakistanis work and live side by side.
